Affordable Gutter – Deposit & Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

This policy outlines the terms regarding project scheduling, deposits, and cancellations for Affordable Gutter. It ensures fairness, clarity, and protection for both the customer and the company.

2. Deposit Requirement

• A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure all scheduled gutter installation, repair, or maintenance projects.

• The deposit amount will be stated on the customer’s estimate or invoice.

• A project is not considered scheduled until the deposit has been received.

3. Non‑Refundable Deposit Terms

• All deposits are non‑returnable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

• The deposit covers administrative costs, scheduling, materials allocation, and time reserved for the project.

• If a customer cancels a scheduled project at any time, the deposit will be retained by Affordable Gutter.

4. Rescheduling

• Customers may request to reschedule a project at least 48 hours in advance without losing their deposit.

• Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time may be treated as a cancellation, and the deposit may be forfeited at the company’s discretion.

5. Company‑Initiated Changes

• In the rare event Affordable Gutter must reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, the customer’s deposit will remain fully credited toward the rescheduled date.

• If Affordable Gutter cancels a project and cannot reschedule, the deposit will be refunded in full.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers must ensure access to the job site on the scheduled date.

• Failure to provide access may be treated as a cancellation, resulting in forfeiture of the deposit.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the deposit, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Deposit & Cancellation Policy.
